Been reading about this.... could be amazing this awesome 7 book series will be a film?
I have always been a fan of Stephen King - his work is mainstream. His work always strikes a chord into the subconcious, I remember reading Cujo all the way through in one sitting, it was Impossible to put down. Moving on though, his work never really adapts so well to TV or Cinema - save The Shining (Jack Nicholson, Shelly Duvall with Stanley Kubrick directing)
Normally King's work never reall seems to cross into Television or cinema well - an examplebeing the The Stand, a totally engrossing 1100 page book but the TV series with Rob Lowe seemed weak and never really worked well
Now I hear of 2 rumours
1) The Cell becomes a movie
2) The Dark Tower becomes a movie
