Who is Johnnie Williams?
Hello my name is Johnnie Williams and I am from England in the county of Essex. I have studied Film Theory for 5 years and have a BSc in Film and Cultural Studies from the London Metropolitan University.
My interest in film began at an early age when I would stay up late as a child and explore the world of Foreign Cinema shown on Channel 4 during the 1980's.Since then I have increased my knowledge from viewing all genres of film.

The purpose of this Blog is to offer an informative and honest review of Cult, Independent, and World Cinema whilst briefly mentioning Hollywood Mainstream releases where appropriate.
By offering these analyses I will ensure that you my readers will be exposed to my well-gained experience and thereby strengthen your film knowledge.

I will not write about the technical aspects of film as my knowledge is purely theory based, however if I feel something is not being discussed in this Blog I will provide snippets where possible to ensure at least an introduction is offered, after all we all never stop learning and if I can provide portals for you in the right direction I will!
